D.K Mahila Mahavidyalaya Kurkheda was established in 2013 with an aim to impart quality higher education to girl students from impoverished, tribal, rural , and inaccessible regions. The college offers courses in the faculty of Home Science. It is run by D.K Health &Welfare Society Sadak Arjuni. Our institution is affiliated to Gondwana University Gadchiroli.
The college aims to provide education to economically , socially and educationally vulnerable students and to attain this aim we have been striving hard since the inception of the institute. This area is affected by the Naxal Movement.
The college is situated in a beautiful natural background of lush ,green vegetation and paddy fields.
- To provide quality education of the tribal students.
- To include the excluded.
- To provide sound teaching and learning to the student for their personal and professional development.
- To cultivate human values ethical values for students become a responsible citizens.

1) To make Tribal & Naxal affected Student aware about career opportunities, available to them.

5) Impart Knowledge to the Student regarding various vocation areas of Nutrition, Textiles Clothing & Child Care.
डी. कॆ. महिला महाविद्यालय येथे पौष्टिक तृणधान्य काळाची गरज यावर मार्गदर्शन
आज दी.04 फेब्रुवारी 2023 रोज शनिवारला डी. कॆ. महिला महाविद्यालय कुरखेडा येथे आंतरराष्ट्रीय पौष्टिक वर्ष 2023 निमित्य तालुका कृषी विभाग कुरखेडा व अन्न व पोषणशास्त्र विभाग डी. कॆ. महिला महाविद्यालय कुरखेडा यांच्या संयुक्त विद्यमाने पौष्टिक तृणधान्य काळाची गरज या विषयावर मार्गदर्शनपर कार्यक्रम घेण्यात आला. सदर कार्यक्रमाला अध्यक्ष म्हणून महाविद्यालयाच्या कार्य. प्राचार्या. डॉ. पी. एल. तागडे मॅडम उपस्थित होत्या. तर प्रमुख मार्गदर्शक म्हणून श्री. संजय रामटेके सर कृषी अधिकारी कुरखेडा उपस्थित होते. त्यांनी आपल्या मार्गदर्शक तृणधान्य चे आरोग्यासाठी असलेले महत्व सांगितले. सदर कार्यक्रमाला प्रमुख अतिथी म्हणून दहिकर मॅडम, प्रा. घाटबांधे सर, डॉ. सांगोळे मॅडम उपस्थित होते.
कार्यक्रमाला प्राध्यापक, शिक्षकेत्तर कर्मचारी व विद्यार्थिनी उपस्थित होत्या.
