        Department Of Food Science and Nutrition Was established in the year -2013. It’s one of the department that comes under bachelor of science in stream of faculty of Home Science .This is the compulsory subject in CBCS Pattern of B.sc Home Science .  In this core subject , Fundamental of food and Nutrition , Basic of Food Science, Meal Management, Community Nutrition , Diet Therapy, Nutrition and Dietetics included in all 6 Semester’s.  The department has been achieving a good academic result every year. Vision and Mission of the department is to achieve excellence in teaching for the upliftment and promotion of women’s  and  community  health. Faculty encourages the students to participates in National and state level seminars, webinars, workshops and extension activities conducted by the department.  Field visits, educational tour are organized to aware expose, uplift the students in various nutritional fields.
